Hey peoples. I have been working away on the new album lately, and it’s almost done.

About 2 weeks ago, with the help of one incredible studio band (John Watson, James Gillard, Bill Chambers and Mark Punch) we spent four days in lockdown at Nash’s studio in the Hunter Valley, and recorded about 15 songs. Since then I’ve had a few guests come to my studio to sing or play on the tracks, but the majority is still what we managed to capture live in the initial session.

I’m really loving this new album. It’s probably the least ‘produced’ album I’ve ever made, and I’m enjoying the sincerity of that approach. It certainly was fun recording live with the band – kinda like we’re all in it together, for better or worse. Can’t wait for it to be released and see what others think.

Anyway, back to the studio. I have a few things to finish off…
