Tamworth Country Music Festival 2014
JUST ANNOUNCED: Shane will be performing one show only during the Tamworth CM festival at The Family Hotel on Thursday, 23 January.

Ballina Coastal Country Music Festival
Shane will be performing as the headline act for the opening night of the upcoming Ballina Coastal Country Music Festival on Friday 4 October.
The weekend will also feature buskers, street performers, markets stalls, prizes and much more all within the local central business area and retail precinct.
Artists appear at local hotels, clubs and pubs throughout Saturday and Sunday with the opening concert on Friday night.

Shane & Kasey were awarded Group/Duo Of The Year at the 2013 Country Music Awards of Australia in Tamworth on January 26 – capping off a huge year and the release of their second collaborative album, Wreck & Ruin.
Shane was awarded Producer Of The Year, following his recent work with Beccy Cole and his latest solo release, Bad Machines.

Kasey and Shane would like to announce that for the Tamworth Country Music Festival 2013, they will perform a free concert in Tamworth. The concert will take place in the heart of Peel Street. This will be their only Tamworth performance and an exciting opportunity for their fans, who make the trek to Tamworth every year to celebrate with them.

Kasey, Talon, Arlo and I have just welcomed the newest little member to our family tribe – a beautiful baby girl.
“Poet Poppin Nicholson” was born yesterday afternoon, weighing 7 pounds 11. Both mum and bub are healthy and well. Poet is a gorgeous little bundle of baby – I am a very proud dad!
Shane wins the 2012 APRA Music Award for Country Work of the Year for “Famous Last Words” in Sydney on May 28! Once again, Arlo has the winner’s grin…
Shane wins first place in the Americana section of the International Songwriting Competition with “The Broken Things”. The field consisted of over 16,000 entrants from 112 countries, with judges including Tom Waits, Jeff Beck, Lucinda Williams, Tori Amos, and many more.
The Grand Prize was won by NZ’s Kimbra. Many other Aussies took out prizes also. For a full list of the winners, click here.

The 2011 International Songwriting Competition finalists have been announced, and Shane has scored THREE finalist spots in the Americana category. He also gained four semi-finalist nods across the Folk/Singer-Songwriter, Americana and Country categories. The prestigious annual comp was won by Kasey Chambers last year.

Bad Machines has been nominated for Best Country Album at the 2011 ARIA Awards.
Shane will be attending the event, along with wife Kasey Chambers who is also a nominee, which unfortunately means his performance at the Queenscliff Music Festival has been cancelled.
But have no fear, there are many other opportunities to see Shane in Victoria throughout November. After a few weeks enjoying some time out with the family, Shane will head back out on the road as the special guest of K.D. Lang on selected dates of her national tour.
